シニアの断捨離　Senior’s Danshari

やました ひでこさん監修の『シニアの断捨離© 決定版』（TJMOOK）の表紙用にオリジナルのパターンを制作いたしました。テーマにしたのは、調和・共生です。断捨離と聞くと、物を捨てるという行動が強く想起されがちですが、やましたさんが提案されいるのは、物と人の心との調和が取れた生き方。余計なものを入れない、不要なものは捨てる、心にゆとりを持つことで、人生に良い循環を生み出すという断捨離のコンセプトを、ハチドリと植物、生活にかかせない雑貨や、物と物を結ぶ紐などをモチーフにしてパターンで表現しました。

We created an original pattern for the cover of "Senior's Danshari©, Definitive Edition" (TJMOOK) supervised by Hideko Yamashita. The theme of this cover was harmony and symbiosis. When we hear the word "Danshari" (decluttering), we tend to think of the action of throwing things away, but what Ms. Yamashita is proposing is a way of life in which things are in harmony with the human spirit. The concept of decluttering, which is to create a positive cycle in one's life by not adding unnecessary things, discarding unnecessary things, and having a relaxed mind, is expressed in patterns using motifs of hummingbirds, plants, various goods essential to daily life, and strings connecting things to things.
